Samuel Johnson said " when a man is tired of London he is tired of life." London is where I grew up. It's my home but I am forever discovering new treasures within this 'smog.' It is a maze of secrets and stories. I love that it is thousands of worlds, histories and communities living on top of each other. Every stop is different. Every street is different. Every day is different. As an actress it is wonderful for theatre and creativity. It's not bad for parties either. You can be who ever you want to be in London although in the current climate that could sadly change. Growing up in London made it easier to come out as a teenager.

After spending my GSCE summer in Soho, I move out of home and wrote my parents a letter telling them I was gay. To me if London was a person it would be a ancient, camp eccentric chain smoking drag queen- bitter, intelligent, fun, rebellious and exaggerated.
